This browser records WebM rather than MP4. WebM plays on the web and on Android, but not everywhere — Safari on a Mac will open it in the browser, and social apps generally accept it. Ten photos is the limit because recording happens in real time.
About slideshow videos
This records your photos as a real video file you can post or send. Unlike a GIF it supports proper fades and stays small at full resolution.
Why only ten photos?
The video is captured in real time, exactly as it plays. Ten photos at a few seconds each is already about a minute of waiting, and longer than that is more patience than a browser tool should ask for.
Do I get an MP4?
It depends on your browser. Safari records MP4. Chrome and Firefox usually record WebM, which plays on the web, on Android, and in most social apps, but is not as universal. The tool tells you which you received.
Can I add music?
No. Adding an audio track needs video processing this tool deliberately avoids, and most music would breach copyright when posted. Add music in the app you are posting to — Instagram and TikTok both offer licensed tracks.
Why did my video come out broken?
Almost certainly because the tab lost focus while recording. Browsers throttle background tabs, which stalls the capture. Keep the tab in front until it finishes.
